要說到影響世代的國際巨星，相信其中一位是大衛．寶兒(David Bowie)絕對無人反對吧？這位Madonna也是其忠實歌迷；無論在音樂、時裝及藝術領域上均盡顯其天份的傳奇人物，卻遇上天妒英才，不幸因末期肝癌在2016年逝世，終年69歲。儘管如此，他的影響力仍然無遠弗屆！

原名David Robert Jones並化名「DAVID BOWIE」的大衛寶兒，13歲已展示其音樂天份作表演，並在就讀技術高中時學習色士風，16歲畢業後曾在一些模特兒樂隊演奏色士風包括King Bees、Manish Boys(其中還包括Jimmy Page作為演講人)、60年代傳奇樂隊The Monkees的Davy Jones及Lower Third。

而在Davy Jones成為國際巨星之後，他的名字在1966年更名為‘David Bowie’。並在Pye唱片公司發行了三張單曲；1969年成立自己的啞劇公司「The Feathers」但很快就結束，其後組建了實驗藝術團體貝肯漢姆藝術實驗室(Beckenham Arts Lab)。一直到70年代中期憑專輯「The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars」從波蘭時尚的華麗搖滾(Glam Rock)中汲取靈感，化身成將頭髮染成橙色並開始穿女裝雌雄同體的Ziggy Stardust後，便開始嶄露光芒。

當然，圍繞著他前衛造型的造型師也功不可沒；其中與日本前衛造型師山本寛斎(Kansai Yamamoto)的合作絕對是最佳拍檔！為David Bowie在1972年的「Ziggy Stardust Tour」所打造的雌雄同體、濃妝豔抹的火星人造型，令其演藝事業再達致另一個高峰；那條名為「Rites of Spring」的變形條紋連身衣，直至現在仍為世人津津樂道！

一直以來，他的作品不斷以各種方式鼓勵獨特性的探索，並為這個世界感到太古怪的人提供了一絲閃閃的希望；再加上他是近代流行文化內首位巨星接受同性戀社區並鼓勵對話的一員，令其知名度直至他逝世後仍然不減。適逢這位傳奇人物逝世兩週年，除了悼念，也讓我們來看看他所留下給世人的「外星人十大引言」吧！
