在巴黎近郊地區有一個神秘的地方，雖然路程遙遠，但每年依然吸引超過幾百萬人次前往，全因為它的獨特地理位置，所說就是的聖米歇爾山（Mont Saint Michel）。

聖米歇爾山之所以聞名，除了是僅次於梵蒂岡城和耶路撒冷的天主教聖地外，更是一個被海水圍繞的獨特山城。全因為聖米歇爾山四周均是沙洲，當潮汐時海水將覆蓋周遭的地面，形成聖米歇爾山在海中央矗立的景致，十分壯觀。
